Hey everyone!
I hope you’re enjoying my fashion segment inspired by Audrey Hepburn!
This post is going to be all about the “a-line dress.” In the movie Funny Face, Audrey wore a black a-line dress with a high neck line. She paired it with black heels and a black round hat. In Funny Face, there’s a scene where they’re trying to photograph Audrey with balloons (wearing the a-line dress). She runs with the balloons and they fly out of her hands into the sky. I reenacted that scene in the picture above 🙂
A few years ago when I had my senior pictures done, I wanted some of the pictures to have a vintage, yet modern, Audrey Hepburn flare. I knew I had to go with my melon colored high neck a-line dress. This is my favorite dress! If I don’t know what to wear, I almost always grab for it! I love that it has a bow on the front… and it has pockets! That always makes a dress better!
This dress is from the Lauren Conrad line at Kohl’s. It was on the clearance wrack for I think around $15 or so! What a deal!
I also paired my dress with black heels and a black sunhat that we added a ribbon and clip to. The hat actually came from Big Lots!

If you haven’t seen Funny Face, I really recommend it! It’s actually my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie. Fred Astaire is in it too so it won’t disappoint!
Bonjour! 🙂
