Red & White Halter Dress

I’ve always known I was an “old soul.” But lately, I’ve really been loving vintage and vintage inspired clothing, especially 1950’s style 🙂 For today’s post, I’m sharing with you this adorable red and white halter dress that I think is very 1950’s inspired.

What drew my eye to this dress was the style and print. I love the red and white pattern and the high collar and flare fit. I’m not a fan of the back of the dress, it’s open and the straps cross in the back making it lower than I would like. I didn’t think a white tank top would look right so I went with this white cotton button up. It worked perfectly!

I also decided to pair these white tennis shoes instead of sandals or wedges. It made for a cute and comfortable Summer outfit that would also be perfect for a picnic! Also, I’m loving these white cat-eye sunglasses!
