Happy Thursday everyone! I am officially 22 today so I thought it would be a perfect time for me to share this very Ciara outfit with you all.
I went home this past weekend to celebrate my birthday with my family and mom found the cutest vintage dress with a matching jacket for me! It is definitely vintage, which you can tell by the tag & the size being a 9 (today’s sizing is soooooo weird!). We are thinking it’s from the 1950’s. The jacket was missing a middle button and had a small tear at the back. Mom was able to move the top button to the middle, and then sew a different button at the top (it’s slightly bigger, but you can’t tell). She was able to fix the small tear at the back and we decided it would look best with a button on each side of the back to help camouflage the flaw. The dress had belt loops, but did not come with a belt. Luckily, I had this belt which came with another dress and matched perfectly. I decided to complete the look with some black heels, a vintage 1950’s purse, and a red lip. Since it was very chilly outside, I wore my favorite dressy coat from H&M (old), cute bow gloves (also H&M, couple years old), & the hat mom made that I wear all the time.
