Our Apartment Tour

Hi everyone! I’ve been meaning to write this post for a while, but just now got around to it. Trenton and I moved into our apartment at the end of July. We are enjoying it and it has began to feel like a home!

We were so blessed with many of the pieces we have in our home. Most of the furniture was given to us, or we got them for a very good deal. A lot of the items were wedding gifts or what we had already. I had several furniture pieces and decor items from my bedroom back home as well.

Our apartment is 625 sq. ft with one bedroom. Although it’s small, it is perfect for just the two of us. I’ve always loved shabby chic & farmhouse decor, so that is what we went for. I tried to incorporate more white since Trenton is living here too 🙂

Living Room

• Love seat: bought from family friend

About 7 years ago or so, my mom and I found this chair at a little shop not far from our house. It was marked $12 and I thought it was too cute. It’s not in the best condition, is super heavy & may not be “worth the trouble” but I still love this chair!
