Hi everyone! Sorry for such the delay. I wasn’t able to write a post last week due to finals week and coming home. So I’m ready to start writing again.
For this week’s bible verse I chose Matthew 6:6
“But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Then your Father, who sees what is done in secret, will reward you.”
I discovered while I was at the college that I really hear God’s word more when I’m in my room doing my devotion from my prayer journal. I was a little worried that I wouldn’t keep up with my prayer journal as much coming home for the summer. And I haven’t as much as I did at college. I need to devote a time every day to go in a room by myself or even outside to read the bible and do my prayer journal. That is where I feel God the most. I need a place with no distractions, where I can fully devote my attention to God’s word.
Wherever it is you hear God the most, go there.
And remember, you can’t go anywhere without a little faith.
