Start your week off RIGHTeous: Week 19

Hi everyone! First off, I want to say that I’m sorry I haven’t been sticking with my Start your week off RIGHTeous posts during my summer vacation. I’ve been getting distracted and I want to do a better job at providing a weekly bible verse for you all.

For this week, I decided to just talk about one of my favorite books of the Bible. So while I was at college, I was involved with cru. Cru is a Christian organization on campus that has small groups in the residence halls and we all meet every Friday night. If you know of cru at your college, I really suggest joining it 🙂

Anyways, one time with cru we went through the book of Ephesians. I’ve done some posts of verses from Ephesians before but I wanted to focus on the book more. I really love Ephesians. They’re so many inspirational passages in it and I find it a really uplifting book. I have a lot of it highlighted in my bible 🙂

I have several favorite verses from Ephesians but I’m going to leave you with a few.

Ephesians 2: 4-5

“But because of his great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions- it is by grace you have been saved.”

Ephesians 3: 16-19

“I pray that out of his glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge-that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.”

Those are just a two of my favorite verses, I’ll let you read the rest 🙂
