I tried two more of the sample pods Red Apple Lipstick sent me and I’m excited to tell you all about them.
The first one is called Oh My Guava. This is a nude matte color. I thought this lipstick was similar to Beachside (shown here Red Apple Lipstick: Review 1) except it doesn’t have shine to it. Oh My Guava also has more of a pink/rose tint versus Beachside’s bronze tint.
The next lipstick is called Plum Sexy Crazy. I really like this color. It’s a burgundy color with a pinkish tint to it. I wore it with a burgundy dress and it matched it perfectly. Burgundy lipsticks are my favorites. Plum Sexy Crazy has some shine to it but it isn’t overpowering.
One thing I’ve noticed about Red Apple Lipsticks that I love is you can make the lipsticks brighter if you put more, or lighter if you just put a thin coat. Some lipsticks are the same color no matter how much you put on, but with Red Apple it’s like you’re getting two different lipstick colors in one!
