Happy Sunday everyone! I hope you all had a refreshing weekend.
Today, I’m reviewing a product I purchased at the Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest (you can view a blog post about that experience here: Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest: Indy)
The product is the Very Vanilla Buddy Cake from the brand, Buddy’s Allergen Free Treats. At the expo they were having a special when you purchase a buddy cake. Two packages of the cake mix and two of the icing were included for a cost of around $6 or $7. All of their products are free of gluten, nuts, eggs, soy, dairy, wheat, peanuts, and corn syrup.
To make the buddy cake, simply mix the buddy cake packet, a tablespoon of oil (applesauce works as well) and 3 tablespoons of milk in a mug and put it in the microwave for a minute. Let cool and apply the icing and you’re ready to enjoy! I think buddy cakes are great for any ages! Being a college student living in a dorm, space is limited and fridge space is even more limited. These are awesome to make for when you have a sweet tooth.

The buddy cake is very moist and the icing is delicious! There’s also a chocolate flavor to try as well. I recommend checking them out!
