Happy Monday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter weekend with family! This year, I decided to wear a dress I thrifted a few months back from Goodwill. If you’re new around here, I love to go thrift shopping (you can see more thrift finds here, here & here)!
Dress (Goodwill): similar here, here & here) Denim jacket (old, thrifted): similar here Sneakers (old, Payless): similar here Straw bag (Cato last year): similar here
What I loved about this dress was the blue and white floral print. I also loved the rickrack detailing around the waist and hem. It has a higher neck line, but the back goes into a ‘V’ making it more unique than the typical sheath dress. Although I don’t think this dress is vintage (it has a plastic zipper and the tag doesn’t look old), it does have a vintage/60’s style to it! This dress fit me like a glove, which usually doesn’t happen with this silhouette.
Since it was cool in the morning, I decided to pair it with my denim jacket (I seriously wear this jacket all. the. time. see it also styled here, here, here). For a more casual look, I wore white tennis shoes and grabbed a straw bag!
You can’t go anywhere without a little faith,
Ciara
