So about a month or so ago, we were at Meijer and I saw this top I really liked but it was $22 and not on sale. This past Sunday, we were in Meijer again and I saw the top! There was no sign saying it was on sale but I decided to try the price scan and see…and it rang up as $15.40! So I had to get it then. They didn’t have the size I needed so I ended up getting the medium and overall it fits pretty good. It does go farther off my shoulders but it works.
The top is this bluish gray color. It’s longer in the back and has slits on the side. What caught my eye about it was the quote it had on it. It has Proverbs 31:25, “She is clothed in strength and dignity and she laughs without fear of the future.” Seeing that bible verse was what caught my eye about the top and why I had to get it when it was on sale. It’s a simple top but has a bold message.
Since it was a bit cool yesterday, I paired my white/cream long open sweater with it. I also got this from Meijer last summer. Meijer kind of sounds like an odd place to buy clothes but they actually have some pretty cute stuff! I wore my born concept ankle boots with the outfit to give me height since the sweater and top are both long…and I’m short. I also really love this purse. Mom got it for me from Target. It’s the perfect size and is a cross body. It adds a pop of color to any outfit!
My hair wasn’t cooperating very well and since I’m limited on my hair styling abilities (ironic since mom was a beautician) I put it half up with this cross barrette. I thought it went along well with the top 🙂
