Hi everyone! I’ve done several posts about gluten free beauty products (see under this tab: product reviews), mainly cosmetics, but I’ve never done one over hair and skincare products before. I’ve put together a list of brands, ones I’ve tried before and ones I intend on trying in the future!
I discovered Hask products several months ago. I was needing to get a different shampoo, and wanted one that was more natural, but still somewhat affordable. Hask products are free of gluten, sulfates, parabens, drying alcohols, and phtalates.
I found Hask shampoo at Meijer for around $5. They have a wide variety of products ranging from argan oil to coconut oil to chia seeds and more. I went with their monoi coconut oil shampoo. When I first tried their shampoo, I LOVED it! My hair felt so much healthier, smoother, and shinier! It was all I talked about haha! Also, the monoi coconut oil smells amazing! I later tried their conditioner and love it just as much!
I haven’t gotten to try Root’s products yet, but I really want to try their pretty balms (a combo of lip balm and lip stick!). Also, I’ve heard good things about them! All of their products are gluten free, vegan, natural and organic! They have products ranging from makeup to face masks, perfume to shaving cream and even laundry and hand soap!
Also, right now they’re having free shipping for memorial day weekend! Just use the code: MEMWKND. This sale ends Monday night!
Not all of 100% Pure products are gluten free, but most of them are. I would recommend contacting them to find out if the product you’re interested in is gluten free. I haven’t tried their products but I really love their platform. They create products that are GOOD for your skin and are 100% all natural, free of artificial colors, preservatives, and toxins! They have many hair and skincare products!
Derm Organic products are all free of gluten, artificial preservatives, sulfate, and are vegan. I’ve seen their products at Target before and they seem to be pretty affordable and good quality.
Personal Note:
This post was a little hard to write because I’ve been using about the same products for a very long time! I use St.Ive’s Apricot Scrub for acne and blemishes. Not all of St. Ives products are gluten free, but if gluten is in a product, it will be clearly labeled. For body wash I use Suave or Softsoap, again, a product will be clearly labeled if it contains gluten. These products do not bother me, but I would advise contacting the companies directly, everyone reacts differently to gluten.
I wanted to include brands that I KNEW were gluten free and have heard good reviews about. I’ll update you all if I use any of the brands above!

What are your favorite gluten free hair and skincare brands? I’d LOVE to hear about them!
