My Favorite Gluten Free Brands (and mostly dairy free)

Over the past almost 8 years since discovering I was gluten intolerant (see my story here: My Gluten Free Story), we’ve tried a lot of different gluten free brands.

Finding your favorite gluten free brands can be hard, so I’ve compiled a list of ours in this post!

Live G-Free (Aldi):

I know I’ve talked about Aldi before (see here: Gluten Free Guide for Newbies), but seriously, they’re the best.

Aldi’s Live G-Free line of gluten free (and now all soy free too) are just as good as the name brand gluten free products. Also, many of their products are dairy free as well. Some of our favorite Live G-Free products are their bread, wraps, soft cookies, pasta, cupcake mix (see my green tea cupcakes here: Green Tea Cupcakes: Gluten & Dairy Free), pancake & baking mix, frozen chicken nuggets, frozen pancakes, granola, and pretzels. They have many more of these products as well like pizza, ravioli, cheesecake, General Tso’s chicken, and many more.

Aldi doesn’t carry all of these Live G-Free products all of the time, but since it’s May (Celiac Disease Awareness Month Celebration!), they have many of the last few items mentioned during this month.

GF Jules:

Jules was the first gluten free flour we tried…and it’s the best! The flour is priced comparable to other gf brands, but we only purchase for the Holidays, about once a year & we limit to using it for only special items (listed below). GF Jules offers bundles, discounts, and right now she has free shipping on orders $69+. This will save you about $12 or so on shipping!

Mom uses her all purpose flour to make homemade chicken and noodles, lemon bars, sugar cookies, sweet potato casserole, pie crust, gravy, fried chicken, and more.

On GF Jules website, you can place orders, sign up for her mailing list, and find a ton of recipes! I was able to win a discount on one of her bundle packages from the GF Expo (see post here: Gluten Free Food Allergy Fest: Indy) which included flour, mixes, and 2 different downloadable recipe books! (Her products freeze well if needing to stock up!)

Enjoy Life:

What I love about Enjoy Life is that all of their products are free of the top 8 allergens and are gluten free! Also, their company headquarters is located in Jeffersonville, Indiana (how cool?!)!

Some of my favorite Enjoy Life products are their chocolate chips, cookies, chocolate bars, and plentil chips.

Pamela’s

Pamela’s was also one of the first gluten free brands we tried. We got addicted to her dark chocolate chunk cookies haha!

Our favorites products are her pancake mix, cookies, graham crackers, and her baking mixes.

Glutino:

Glutino was the first gluten free product I ever tried! Our cousin had given us a box of their crackers for me to try, and I refused to try them for many years! Now, they’re my favorite crackers…the irony haha 🙂

My favorite Glutino products are their crackers, pop tarts, pretzels, corn bread mix, and breakfast bars. At college, I would take Glutino crackers and breakfast bars for a snack about every day.

I do want to add that not all of Glutino products are dairy free.

So Delicious:

I love So Delicious products! If you’re gluten free and dairy free, this is your go-to brand!

Their coconut milks, yogurts, ice creams, ice cream bars, creamers, and CoCoWhip are the best! They have so many different dairy free alternatives like almond milk, cashew milk, coconut milk, and soy milk. We only get the coconut and cashew milk products because they are the only dairy free milk alternatives my stomach can tolerant.

Not all of their products are gluten free, I want to say probably 95% of their products are gf, but I know their ice cream sandwiches are NOT GF! If gf, there will be a label on the product!

I hope this list of Gluten Free brands has been helpful!

What are your favorite gluten free brands and products? I’d love to hear your suggestions!

Happy Celiac Awareness Month!
