If you’re from the midwest you know how awfully cold the weather has been lately. Purdue even cancelled classes for 1 day (that has only happened 12 times since 1977!)! Well since I was home all day, I decided to make a soup in the crock pot.

Ingredients:
- Package of boneless skinless chicken tenders or breasts
- ~1/2 bag of baby carrots (fresh or frozen)
- ~1/2 bag of frozen green beans
- Salt (I used pink Himalayan)
- Parsley
- Basil
- Rosemary
- Ginger
- Minced Onion
- Garlic Powder
- Chicken Broth (from Aldi)
I never measure spices. From what I said in my previous post, if it smells good- you added enough!

Throw it all in the crock pot, set it on high to cook all day and you’re good to go! I put mine in around 9:30 am and ate it for dinner around 6:00! The chicken was so tender that I didn’t even have to cut it up, it had fell apart on its own. I also had a slice of garlic bread made with toasted Canyon Bakehouse gluten free bread, Earthbalance dairy free butter, salt, garlic powder and parsley.
