The Essential Oils I Use Daily & Why I Use Them

Earlier this year I shared that I started using essential oils (read more about why here: Why I Decided to Sell Young Living & My Insight on Essential Oils). Since then, I’ve been learning more about oils and have implemented some into my daily routine. Essential oils can be used for a variety of different things from sleep support to making your home smell nice and inviting.

Essential oils can also be used different ways such as diffusing, topically (applying them to your skin), and you can even ingest some oils and cook with them (always check first!). I diffuse them and use many topically.

AM: Wash face, apply moisturizer, & roll on face serum roller I made. The face serum has almond oil, frankincense, myrrh, lavender, geranium, copaiba, lemon, & whatever other oils I decide to add to it! Roll Endoflex on neck for thyroid support.

PM/ throughout the day: Oils I typically diffuse are thieves, Christmas spirit, purification, peppermint, Sara, stress away, valor, ylang ylang, lemon, grapefruit, or lavender.

I will also apply stress away or Sara for emotional support if I’m feeling overwhelmed or stressed.

If I’m feeling tension in my shoulders, neck, or lower back I’ll use PanAway & peppermint. For tummy troubles I use Digize & peppermint. For respiratory support I use Raven and for the sniffles I use lemon, peppermint, & lavender together. All of these oils I have in a roller bottle with a carrier oil (like almond oil or fractionated coconut oil).

Evening/Bedtime: Apply 1 drop of Sclaressence on my ankles for hormone support & 2 drops progessence plus for hormone support- with this oil you should alternate application sites (sometimes I apply it on my arms, sometimes legs, or abdomen). Progessence plus has been a game-changer for me, and it’s an oil I think every single girl needs! It is a natural progesterone product made from wild yams.

I also roll Thieves on my spine for immune support & use lavender and stress away together for sleep support. Lavender & stress away were the first Young Living essential oils I tried and have really helped my sleep since I’ve been using them. I also use them when I’m feeling overwhelmed and am needing to refocus. Peppermint is also great for focusing & I diffuse it to help Trenton study.

Using essential oils doesn’t have to be difficult. I’ve only been using them for 1 year and am constantly learning more about them. Always check with your doctor if you have concerns. Essential oils should not be used to replace a medicine or treat a disease, but instead used as a tool for you.

Do you use essential oils? Do you want to see more posts about them & how I use them? If so, comment below!
